A leading company is seeking a Programme Executive to design, coordinate, and implement programmes focused on the well-being of children and youth. This role involves curriculum design, engaging stakeholders, and monitoring programme effectiveness. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and experience in youth or mental wellness, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
As a Programme Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, coordination and implementation of programmes mainly aimed at nurturing the academic, social and emotional well-being of young individuals. Your responsibilities will involve designing curriculum, organising activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a strong advocate for children and youth well-being, and collaborate with existing and prospective programme partners.
- Work closely with the programme team to design mission-driven curriculum and activities.
- Coordinate all aspects of programme implementation, liaising with facilitators and volunteers, and other involved parties for scheduling, venue arrangements, resource requirements etc.
- Monitor progress of programme and how it impacts the beneficiaries, and make adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Engage stakeholders - both internal and external (partners, schools, community etc) - to promote participation and garner support (leveraging on strengths within stakeholders).
- Together with the programme team, develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of programmes.
- Communicate results to internal team and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on current research, trends and best practices related to the role.
- Recruitment and management of volunteers.
- Provide support for in-house and external talks, events, and outreach activities.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in social work, psychology, early childhood, events management, business development, mass communications or its equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in the areas of children, youth, and/or mental wellness will be an advantage.
- Excellent projects/events management skills, and skills in organizational/planning/time management.
- People-oriented, willing to work on the ground, and a passion to serve.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, experienced with managing relationships and communicating with diverse stakeholders, including partners, volunteers, youths and families, and donors.
- Creativity, adaptability, a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Able to work effectively in a team and have a high degree of independence, self-management.
- Able to work on weekends whenever required.
