RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Centre Engagement
  • Perform community screening, befriend the elderly, and support outreach activities or public education efforts.
  • Conduct health assessments for seniors/clients.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, caregivers, volunteers, and the community.
  • Ensure clients' safety and well-being, and implement their individual care plans.
  • Build supportive relationships between clients, volunteers, and staff to promote socialization and reduce isolation.
  • Volunteer Management
    • Assist in volunteer management and conduct orientation programs.
    • Train volunteers in active aging activities and buddying initiatives.
    • Encourage volunteers to engage in befriending relationships to enhance emotional and social well-being.
  • Programme Planning and Execution
    • Plan, organize, implement, monitor, and evaluate programs, activities, and events, creating a calendar of activities.
    • Assist and facilitate activities alongside the care team.
    • Conduct classes for lifelong learning for seniors.
  • Programme Management & Reporting
    • Manage key programs, ensuring timely execution and achievement of objectives.
    • Coordinate events and partner relationships, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
    • Provide timely reports on program progress, milestones, risks, and resolutions.
  • Staff Relations
    • Collaborate with the care team to foster team spirit and cohesive work relationships for the benefit of clients.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Community Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or related fields preferred.
    • Proven experience in community development or similar roles.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse populations.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with community engagement platforms.
