Job description

Join our CareElderly team at our Active Aging Centres to keep the seniors active and empower them with a renewed sense of purpose to become channels of support in the community! Currently positioned at 2 different locations at Circuit Road and Serangoon North, serving the seniors in the surrounding blocks, including rental blocks.

As a Programme Assistant, you will be impacting seniors' lives by promoting active ageing, preventing social isolation and rendering inter-generational activities through a holistic range of programmes, support in providing concierge services in an elderly-friendly and hygienic environment.

Job requirements
  • A passion and desire to work with the seniors
  • Ability to plan, develop and implement programmes to meet the needs of the seniors
  • Ability to engage, befriend and motivate the seniors through facilitating activities or programmes
  • A self-motivated team player and enjoy working with different profiles of elderly
  • Able to perform administration and the Microsoft office literacy
  • Good interpersonal skills and possess energetic enthusiasm to support in outreach activities, home visits and conducting assessments using Community Screening Tool
  • 5-day work-week
