We’re looking to add a Program Manager (Engineering) in Singapore. The position will be based in our Univac Site in Woodlands.
As a Program Manager (Engineering), you will:
Responsible for establishing, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with external organizations to drive business growth, enhance profitability, and expand market reach. This role will involve close collaboration with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, product development, and legal teams to support and execute joint initiatives that deliver measurable value for the company
The key responsibilities are as below:
Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and business opportunities aligned with company goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and long-term growth.
Lead contract negotiations, clearly defining scope, deliverables, and shared objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful joint initiatives and measurable commercial outcomes.
Participate in RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and coordinate internally to develop competitive, accurate proposals.
Drive quoting activities, engage with customers to secure new RFQs, and expand the business pipeline.
Develop cost models and manage NPI/project/production costs to ensure timely PO closure and profitability.
Financial & Operational Management
Accountable for meeting revenue, gross margin, and overall profitability targets.
Optimize cost structures, including BOM cost, GM/TC ratio, and total cost of ownership.
Drive inventory efficiency by minimizing excess and obsolescence, and ensuring AR and inventory goals are achieved.
Monitor project financials to maintain profitability and operational discipline across initiatives.
Customer Engagement & Satisfaction
Lead new product introductions with cross-functional support, ensuring seamless development-to-production handovers.
Champion customer-centric initiatives, enhancing engagement and uncovering new business opportunities.
Evaluate and respond to customer cost-reduction requests with innovative, value-driven proposals.
Serve as the key point of contact for escalations, addressing critical issues such as material shortages and delivery delays.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Track and report partnership performance metrics, including revenue, profit, market share, and customer acquisition.
Ensure full compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements across all engagements.
Continuously assess and improve internal processes to drive efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies that impact the business landscape.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
Possesses at least a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, and/or any equivalent engineering discipline.
5 years of working experience in alliance management, business development, or strategic partnership.
Proven success in managing partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Strong contract negotiation and strategic deal-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
Effective in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to engage in technical and commercial discussions and provide effective solutions.
Confident in delivering training sessions and assessing their effectiveness.
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
