The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Project Management professional capable of working in a fast-paced and evolving environment to join our team as a Program Manager (Asia and China). The ideal candidate will play a critical and visible role, actively managing projects related to Supply Chain Strategy, Technology, and R&D across South Korea, SEA, Japan, Taiwan, and China. This role involves working with a matrix team of functional leads across various local and international markets, requiring strong collaboration skills to ensure timely project delivery. Exposure to multiple functions, including Supply Chain processes and systems, would be advantageous.

Principal Accountabilities

Project Leadership:

  • Lead and manage projects end-to-end according to timelines.
  • Drive project team accountability and define roles and responsibilities.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Provide visibility of project status and delivery plans to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project-related materials.
  • Coordinate approvals and requirements between teams.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Engage with functions such as Tax, Treasury, Regulatory, Trade Compliance, GBS, and Legal to resolve roadblocks and support the operating team.

Key Challenges & Success Measures

  • Coordinate workstream leads to deliver projects on time and meet criteria.
  • Establish early-warning systems for deadlines and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively across cultures and teams; provide coaching as needed.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Maintain curiosity and a desire to learn within the Supply Chain space.
  • Respond proactively to stakeholder needs.

Skills, Know-How, and Experience

  • Knowledge of Project Management, especially in Supply Chain projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze project details and provide strategic overview.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet analysis and mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to understand functional interdependencies and project impacts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
