Program Lead (Precision Equipment)

The Opportunity:

• Permanent role
• Work Location: Kallang
• Work Hour: 9:00am - 6:30pm

Adecco is partnering with a globally renowned manufacturer that specializes in Laser system and Optical material products. The organization is searching for a Program Lead to join the team. This position will manage product transfers and oversee current product production, also serves as the focal point of contact with internal business units and is responsible for coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure seamless execution of product transitions and ongoing production.

The Job:

• Program Management & Leadership:
  • Act as the primary interface between internal business units and cross-functional teams.
  • Define and manage key milestones across Equipment & Facilities, Processes, Supply Chain, and other areas to support production.
  • Ensure project schedules are on track and proactively identify risks, escalating and mitigating potential issues as needed.
• Project Execution & Risk Mitigation:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead regular progress reviews and ensure clear follow-through on action items.
  • Identify key challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, including cost reduction initiatives for assigned products.
  • Drive process improvements by benchmarking best practices from other products and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Promote standardization and efficiency across product lines.
• Technical & Business Collaboration:
  • Assess technical capabilities and requirements for future product transfers.
  • Facilitate regular technical and business reviews, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product transitions.
• Lean & Digitalization Initiatives:
  • Embrace Lean/ Digitalization in managing assigned products.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making to optimize production and product management processes.

The Talent:

• Experience in High Mix Low Volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management skills with experience in planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to risk management.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions across various levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
