The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and the ability to work with various plastering methods. Responsibilities include surface preparation, mixing materials, applying coats with hand or power tools, smoothing textures, and coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of plastering experience on construction projects.
• Skilled in plastering methods such as skim coat, cement render, and decorative finishes.
• Physically fit to perform manual labor outdoors and at heights, on scaffolding.
• Familiar with WSH guidelines in Singapore and able to follow supervisor instructions.
• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean surfaces before plastering; remove old plaster, dirt, or paint.
• Mix plaster, cement, and related materials per specifications.
• Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, and partitions using hand or power tools.
• Level, smooth, and finish surfaces to achieve the desired texture.
• Patch and repair cracked or damaged plaster surfaces.
• Follow blueprints or supervisor instructions for job requirements.
• Comply with safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
