Production Worker

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role of Production Worker would need to perform the following.

General Function

To carry out daily production duties according to Supervisor’s instructions; follow and practise safety procedures and good housekeeping habits.

Responsibilities

1. Carry out daily production duties in accordance to the Supervisor’s instructions.
2. Ensure that given products are blended or mixed in accordance to BOM Worksheet.
3. Act in accordance with QC advice during the blending/mixing process.
4. Ensure that all safety procedures/instructions are followed and applied.
5. Maintain regular housekeeping habits:
   - Own work areas assigned for that day must be cleared and cleaned up before the end of the day.
   - Work equipment and machines must be properly cleaned and maintained regularly according to instructions given.
   - Practise FIFO method on the daily raw materials usage.
   - Carry out faithfully the scheduled weekly cleaning duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
6. Operate and handle the forklift safely and productively, ensuring the safety of others and maintaining the equipment in good condition.
7. Be disciplined and avoid horseplay during the course of your work.
8. Be ready to accept any other duties assigned to you by your supervisor in accordance with your capabilities whenever the need arises.
9. Report any non-conformance promptly to the Production Supervisor.
10. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
