Job description

Production Trainee

Salary range: $1900-$2100

No OT required

Job Description:
  1. Arrange and prepare materials and packaging materials for daily production.
  2. Assist in the entire production process - labeling bottles, filling, and moving products.
  3. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure machines/assets are in good condition.
  4. Manage documentation, recording, updates, issuance, and maintenance from pre-weight to goods handover to the warehouse.
  5. Support internal and external audits, including ISO documentation, recording, and maintenance.
  6. Sourcing and emailing inquiries to raw material suppliers for quotations and stock updates. If raw materials are obsolete, source alternatives and process purchase requisitions.
  7. Assist in coaching and guiding new employees.
  8. Raise purchase requisitions for raw materials and plan production schedules with management based on inventory levels.
  9. Ensure production operators, working environment, and manufacturing processes follow SOPs.
  10. Work collaboratively to ensure smooth production operations. Learn and understand the production flow and assist colleagues to meet daily output targets.
  11. Create, update, and maintain SAP system records.
  12. Provide feedback and suggestions during monthly staff meetings.
  13. Perform other projects and tasks as delegated by management and directors.
Job Requirements:
  1. Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field is advantageous; 2-3 years of manufacturing experience required.
  2. Independent, objective decision-maker with integrity and willingness to learn hands-on skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills for training, coaching, and handling queries.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 is advantageous. Computer literacy is required.
