Job summary

UTAC in Singapore is seeking an IT systems professional to manage and support production test environments, including Testers, Probers, and Handlers. You will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot OS and applications across test labs, while coordinating with IT for data backup and recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in installing and maintaining applications and operating systems.
• Knowledge in network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge in application development and programming skill.
• Experience in semiconductor ATE such as Teradyne, Advantest, WS Prober, Handler.

Responsibilities

• Perform system setup, OS installation and upgrades, test environment configuration of production Testers, Probers, Handlers and servers.
• Perform daily monitoring, verifying integrity, maintaining efficiency and availability of TEST and EOL system resources to support Operation.
• Troubleshoot testers and servers OS, software and application related issues.
• Manage and coordinates with IT on production data backup, archival, restoration and recovery.
• Supervise and monitor Test systems’ administration and control are carried out in compliance with internal policies, guidelines and standard.
• Design, plan and deploy customized network to meet customers’ needs in secure device production and information security protection.
• Manage external and internal user access control to TEST network and Test workstation for production and engineering needs.
• Perform first level investigation on TEST network related issue and work with IT for recovery.
• Management of customers’ test programs in production for integrity protection which include program revision control.
• Automation of test program transfer for program integrity control.
• Design, development, deployment and maintenance of system control in managing equipment logs and recipe for test equipment.
• Manage antivirus client application installation and monitoring virus protection on Test and EOL equipment PC.
