Job description

• Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation Semiconductor company to search for a Production Technician

The Opportunity

• Focus: Performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom
• Office location: Singapore, Woodlands
• Working hours: 12 hours shift (Day/Night Shift)

The Talent

• Diploma or ITE-equivalent qualification in Engineering or related field.
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in full cleanroom PPE (bunny suit) for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 kg, stand for long durations, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
• Exposure to equipment lubricants, chemicals, and mechanical noise (with safety measures in place).

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform cleaning, minor refurbishing, and inspections on equipment components.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical instructions to ensure process compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repair work, component usage, and equipment status.
• Support parts handling and housekeeping in accordance with cleanroom standards.
• Communicate equipment issues and status clearly to engineers and management.
• Comply with all safety procedures and contamination control protocols in the cleanroom.
