Production Technician

General Accountability

• Safety and ISO14001 - Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promote recycling, replacement and reduction of resource materials.
• Safety & Health Accountability - Importance of safety and health; ensure attendance to all assigned safety programs and training in accordance with safety guidelines and SOPs.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Accountability - Observing GMP rules and procedures.
• Apply SOP and/or SWI in daily operations.
• Observe BD Code of Ethics.
• Reporting - Report all incidents/accidents, near misses, deviations from plan, and participate in investigations as required.

Operation Tasks

• Operate on machine/process units as assigned.
• Perform troubleshooting for machine/equipment failures to meet production targets and quality standards/specifications.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace).
• Check and record machine/process parameters and take containment and corrective actions as necessary.
• Sampling inspection of parts as per Quality plan; handle non-conforming products as required.
• Support Team Leader in executing changes and projects within production area ensuring compliance to EHS requirements, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Perform product/machine changeover on the line, including clearing previous lot parts, changing materials, and minor machine set-up.

Coordination with Manufacturing Assistant

• Maintain housekeeping and cleaning of machine and work area.
• Ensure accuracy in updating machine MES satellite (component lot numbers, shift output, waste, and downtime).
• Manage material handling activities (packing/unpacking, loading/unloading).

Supporting Tasks

• Contribute to department activities to achieve departmental goals (e.g., Kaizen submission, team building).
• Participate in team performance discussions during daily shift changeover meetings.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives/activities.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
