Job summary

A leading production company in Singapore seeks a Production Technician. Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all production activities at various stages and to work as a team with other production personnel to achieve production targets in accordance with ISO Quality Management System and applicable safety standards.
• Production Processes
• Weighing, mixing, filter preparation, filling and packaging.
• Completion of all associated production records in accordance with good documentation pratices
• Transfer of raw and packaging materials as well as finished products
• General Duties
• Perform house-keeping and first-level trouble-shooting of equipment as needed.
• Equipment and area cleaning on regular intervals.
• Comply with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives within Production.
• Handle non-routine duties as assigned by senior technicians or Production supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Min GCE 'O' Level / Nitec in production, preferably in industrial engineering.
• Min 3 years of related working experience, preferably in chemical process related industry / production factory
• Computer literate (MS Office) and knowledge of Chemistry preferred
• Experience in material handling with forklift or maintenance will be an advantage
• Forklift License preferred
• Positive mindset with a sense of urgency
• Dedicated and able to work independently as well as a team player
• Customer focus with emphasis in quality
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Work hours: 5 days, day shift
• Occasional overtime required
