Job description

Our client is a global solution provider in the railway transport industry.

2 years contract (Renewable subject to project planning). + Bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (0900hrs to 1800hrs) / Weekends will be on standby if required.
Working Location: SMRT-Depots in Kim Chuan / Tuas

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily activities of the production line/warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Meet the demands of the fulfilment center and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery (MHE) regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed with suppliers.
• Meet regularly with ILS, Material Planning, and Project teams to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for inventory optimization.
• Communicate with clients regarding order fulfilment.
• Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans to ensure productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the railway industry.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of SAP IM Module.
• Forklift license is required.
