Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Engineering discipline or 5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience with SAP and knowledge of plating processes is highly preferred.

Job description

Our Client:

• Manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectivity systems

• Location: Jurong

• Work Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, and evaluate plating production activities to ensure departmental KPI achievement.

• Guide and develop production staff to meet established performance targets and standards.

• Review and plan manpower and capacity to align with production needs.

• Define and implement equipment maintenance policies to enhance operational efficiency.

• Monitor production costs and effectiveness to optimize resources and achieve KPIs.

• Collaborate with engineers on production challenges and work with the process team to address plating line issues.

• Facilitate daily area huddle meetings to ensure effective communication of objectives and strategies.

• Ensure all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline or Associate's degree or higher in a technical field, or 5 years of supervisory experience.

• Experience and knowledge in supervisory and planning skills, with SAP experience highly preferred.

• Working knowledge of plating processes.

• Proficiency in computer and analytical skills.

• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
