About the role - you will:
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, safety standards, and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet production targets.
  • Maintain lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and 6S, to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
  • Lead and motivate a team of Manufacturing Specialists, fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team to enhance their skills, performance, and discipline.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
About you:
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Dependable and independent.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Willing to perform permanent night shifts.
Your experience includes:
  • Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
