PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (MNC - MANUFACTURING) @ TUAS SOUTH - TRANSPORT PROVIDED

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and directing the production team to achieve target outputs and maintain high quality standards

2. Monitoring and optimising production processes to improve efficiency and productivity

3. Identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks on the production line in a timely manner

4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

5. Providing training and support to production team members to enhance their skills and performance

6. Collaborating with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure smooth operations

7. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety through hazard identification and prevention.

What we're looking for

1. Diploma / Degree holder

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team

4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to efficiently address production challenges

5. Proficient in interpreting and implementing production plans, schedules and standard operating procedures

6. Good understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality control measures

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (MNC - CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING) @ JURONG ISLAND - TRANSPORT PROVIDED

What you'll be doing

1. The Production Day Supervisor reports to the Production Manager.

2. Responsible for monitoring the production process of the Chemical / Resin Manufacturing site and makes any necessary process changes to maintain the production operation safely and stably.

3. Conduct raw materials, utilities and production month end posting for GSAP.

4. Supports process transition and shutdown work planning with maintenance team.

5. Work with Production Day team on Transition and shutdown maintenance planning.

6. Updating and maintaining all standard operating procedures (SOP), training manual for the production department.

7. Support the orientation, training and supervision and evaluation of newly employed and existing production personnel according to the Total Company Training Plan and production demands.

8. Manage the training of production technicians to achieve the standards required of HSEQ policy and its compliance system i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS 651.

9. Support production shift team on grade change transition activities.

10. Source and make recommendation to Purchasing for materials used for Production, Logistic and Warehouse Operation.

11. Participate in continual and process improvement.

What we're looking for

1. Diploma / Degree holder in Chemical / Others Engineering Disciplines.

2. Min 5-7 years of polymer or petrochemical plant experience.

3. Ability to lead people in a supervision or lead role.

4. Proficient in SAP.

5. Exceptional knowledge and application of all safety rules and safety processes required in a chemical plant.

6. Experience in the operation of chemical plant equipment (such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, pumps, instrumentation systems, extruders, and continuous stirred tank reactors).
