Job summary

A leading company in food manufacturing is seeking a production manager to oversee operations, ensure quality compliance, and lead a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the industry, a strong understanding of ISO 22000 and HACCP standards, and excellent communication skills. This role involves driving continuous improvements in productivity and effectively managing inventory levels.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring production targets are achieved.

• Enforce strict quality control standards (e.g., HACCP), perform regular inspections, and ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory requirements.

• Lead and manage the production team by providing training, guidance, and ongoing performance feedback.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient production schedules, optimize resource utilization, and reduce waste.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and achieving operational excellence.

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging; coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.

• Address and resolve issues related to product quality, workforce allocation, and technical challenges.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and reports, providing regular performance updates to management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.

• Solid understanding of ISO 22000, HACCP standards, and relevant safety and environmental regulations.

• Strong communication and planning skills.

• Proven ability to supervise teams, resolve problems effectively, and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
