Production Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Job Descriptions:

1. Oversees the daily production schedule, production control, inventory control and output.
2. Ensures that production meets health, sanitation and quality standards set by the company and customer.
3. Responsible for coordinating shifts, arranging schedule, and monitoring employee performance.
4. Trains all line workers in all aspects of production in order to allow flexibility in times of worker absences or vacations.
5. Ensures that the necessary critical control points and inspection are carried out accordingly.
6. Raise and coordinate nonconforming product found at the production.
7. Initiate corrective and preventive action when requested or deemed necessary.
8. Ensures that work instructions at the production are implemented accordingly.
9. Maintains good housekeeping within the workplace.
10. Assist the production manager in production planning and duty allocation of personnel for the production.
11. Responsible for quality, safety and quantity of production planned during the shift.
12. Assist the food safety team in quality issues, etc.
13. Responsible for taking necessary corrective action in case of deviation of CCP, OPRP and other control points.
14. Direct responsibility in product identification and traceability.
15. Ensure that records are maintained.
16. Member of Food Safety Team.

Job Requirements:

1. Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).
2. Able to commit to production working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
3. Able to perform overtime (OT) on Fridays and Saturdays.
4. Familiarity with GMP, FSSC 22000, and Halal Certification.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques, and technologies.
7. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
8. Ability to manage both external and internal audits effectively.
9. Independent and fast learner with a positive attitude.
10. Meticulous and detail-oriented.
