Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Production Supervisor to support our daily hot kitchen operations within our food manufacturing facility. This role is floor-based, and the ideal candidate must be actively involved in day-to-day cooking, preparation, and coordination to ensure smooth and efficient production.

You will be working closely with the Production Executive/Manager to maintain food safety standards, manage staff, and help improve kitchen processes while fostering a positive and respectful team culture across our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily hot kitchen production activities to meet production timelines

  • Ensure proper batch cooking procedures and maintain consistency in product quality

  • Enforce GMP, HACCP, and ISO22000 standards during daily operations

  • Supervise and guide production operators and kitchen staff during shift

  • Monitor cleanliness, safety, and hygiene within the kitchen at all times

  • Support with inventory checking and communicate material shortages to relevant teams

  • Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and other departments on operational matters

  • Identify small workflow issues and suggest improvements

  • Provide on-the-job training for new staff and ensure proper work attitude and discipline

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food production, central kitchen, or hot kitchen setting

  • Experience in a supervisory or lead cook role preferred

  • Strong understanding of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP)

  • Able to lead by example, hands-on in cooking and production work

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multicultural team environment

  • Willing to work 12 hours shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Able to communicate effectively in English and/or other local languages
