Job summary

A leading recycling company in Singapore is looking for a production worker to assist with various responsibilities including scheduling, quality checks, and material handling. Candidates must be able to lift heavy loads and operate equipment like forklifts, while proficient communication in both English and Chinese is necessary for effective collaboration with associates.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal and wood works is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
• Able to work 5.5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Plan production schedules and ensure quality of materials.
• Assist in delivery, collection, and warehousing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of premises and operate machinery safely.

Job description

Job Description:

• Planning of production schedule.
• Ensure quality of material produced.
• Enusre optimal usage of production machinery.
• Ensure safe usage of machinery.
• Dismantling of goods and materials.
• Sorting of goods and materials.
• Receive incoming goods and materials.
• Prepare outgoing goods and materials.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of premises.
• Assist in delivery / collection / warehousing duties when required.

Requirements:

• Able to handle heavy loads (up to 25kg per item).
• Able to work in non-air-conditioned environment.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (i.e. Forklift and pallet jet)
• Able to speak and read English and Chinese as there are direct dealings with
  associates from China.
• Experience in metal works (i.e.welding) & wood works will be beneficial.
• Willing to work in a recycling company in Jurong Industrial Estate.
• 5.5 days’ work week.
