Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise Production Operators and manufacturing activities in Battery Recycling Plant, covering areas such as Battery Feeding, Mechanical, Chemical, and Mechanical Vapor Recompression.
  • Conduct performance reviews, address performance issues, discipline, and monitor time management and commitment of Production Operators.
  • Establish production schedules, monitor output, and adjust plans to meet targets.
  • Ensure productivity, quality, and training metrics are met; report progress and develop improvement resolutions.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP), collaborate with engineering on investigations and corrective actions, and review non-conformance reports.
  • Ensure staff are trained according to work instructions.
  • Monitor raw material usage and availability, and resolve shortages.
  • Manage material and labor variances, proposing solutions to meet standards.
  • Oversee machinery maintenance, maximize output, and monitor equipment performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, perform daily 5S and housekeeping checks.
  • Collaborate with engineers to enhance process efficiency and stability.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for TPM activities.
  • Update and present monthly KPIs to management.
  • Maintain skills matrix and machine utilization data for capacity planning.
Job Requirements
  • Sec/Diploma/Degree
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with chemicals, machinery, and equipment
  • Leadership experience with teams/operators
  • Willing to work overtime or on weekends as needed, per MOM regulations
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-air-conditioned environment following WSH standards
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Effective time management and discipline
