Job Title: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Occupation: Production Supervisor

Job Description & Requirements

As a Supervisor (Senior / Assistant), you will assist the Production Engineer / Manager (Senior / Assistant) in performing the overall operation in PBU Fitting Plant. You are to adhere to Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System in accordance with the Company’s standards and customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Overall responsible for Project planning / Planning functions of PBU Fitting fabrication to customer / site.
2. Monitor & update of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
3. Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied.
4. Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters.
5. Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings.
6. Ensure that all installation as well as all defects of PBU Fitting met standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances.
7. Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
8. Coordinate with other department to resolve Quality issue.
9. Lead in the efficient of operation and discipline of the production.
10. Ensure Production members perform according to Quality requirement.
11. Maintain 5 “S” in the production floor.
12. Contribute ideas which can lead to cost saving, productivity efficiency, accuracy and timeliness targets.
13. Manage, coach and train the team members include carrying out performance review and disciplinary action, if required.
14. Authorize to stop operation if conditions are out of safety measures or not able to achieve specified process / operation conditions in production.
15. Participate in the Risk Assessment (RA) discussion & review and taking part of inspection with company WSH officer on Environment, Health & Safety within company premises.
16. Propose Yearly Budget.
17. Relay instructions from head of department to the teams.
18. Flag noncompliance issues to Engineer / Manager.
19. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

Requirements:

1. Minimum PSLE with at least 5 years’ experience working in Architectural / PBU Fitting environment.
2. Minimum ITE with at least 2 years’ experience working in Architectural / PBU Fitting environment.
3. Diploma / Degree with at least 1 years’ experience working in Architectural / PBU Fitting environment.
4. Knowledge of ISO 9000 and 45000 will be an advantage.
5. Possess problem-solving, analyzing and reporting skills.
6. Possess supervisory skills with manpower planning experiences.
