A leading company in the manufacturing sector seeks a skilled manager to oversee production equipment and facilities. The role involves directing a diverse team, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience, along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Oversees and directs the development, planning, implementation, and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. Ensures compliance with all established processes and operations for existing products and NPIs.
Implements business plans and technical project objectives to meet the short- and long-term goals of the organization, such as Assurance of Supply, Cost Savings, In-Sourcing, and Continuous Improvement.
Manages a team of employees from diverse backgrounds. Focuses on people development, supports multi-skill training, and aims to increase productivity.
Collaborates with engineering teams to improve first pass yield, increase production efficiency, and reduce losses. Works closely with quality to ensure strict compliance with good manufacturing practices and product specifications.
Prepares documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures.
Manages operations overhead and costs.
Participates in NPI rollout initiatives, including prototype build and ramping of new products to volume production.
Accountable for key metrics, which may include output targets, overheads, product quality, and reliability goals.
This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule.
