Job description

1. Ensure and maintain product quality standards to meet client requirements.

2. Check and review shop drawings for discrepancies and provide feedback to the design department for amendments.

3. Follow up and review wall chart markings for production and distribute to QC and production personnel.

4. Collect the latest drawings from the design department and keep them filed.

5. Issue the latest drawings to QC in-charge and production teams.

6. Ensure materials are fully utilized to reduce wastage.

7. Assist in mould monitoring and ensure availability for production.

8. Maintain housekeeping and a safe working environment in the production yard.

9. Address non-conformances reported by site coordinators, and enforce quality improvements.

10. Prepare schedules for QC attendance during Sundays and holidays.

11. Provide moral support to staff.

12. Conduct QA/QC inspections pre-pour, post-pour, and pre-delivery.

13. Prepare, update, and maintain the company's ISO Quality Management System (QMS).

14. Ensure effective implementation and compliance of the QMS with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

15. Prepare documentation for accreditation schemes and material listings.

16. Initiate internal audits between departments.

17. Act as Management Representative and assist external auditors during audits.

18. Conduct management reviews and establish quality policies and objectives.

19. Monitor testing schedules for raw materials and calibration of equipment as required.

20. Prepare project quality plans, repair method statements, and work instructions.

21. Develop concrete mix designs for different grades and conduct trial mixes with clients.

22. Perform regular inspections of the verticality of volumetric molds and products.

23. Conduct various tests such as water ponding, watertightness, slump, and cube tests.

24. Monitor cube submissions to HDB PTC Laboratory for Singapore and Malaysia plants.
