Company Overview
Our client is a leading provider of advanced electronic interconnect solutions, specializing in designing and manufacturing high-quality products for the semiconductor and electronics industries. With a strong focus on innovation and precision, they deliver reliable, tailored solutions to meet the demanding needs of global technology markets. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Production Process Improvement Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements through data analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma techniques to optimize manufacturing workflows.
  • Update and maintain documentation related to Engineer Change Orders (ECOs), including process documentation, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational issues, introduce new technologies, and monitor the effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to production staff on assembly techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process maps, flowcharts, control plans, and other relevant documentation.
  • Support production team with flexibility to work overtime as required to meet targets.
  • Conduct product and process evaluations to ensure consistency with quality assurance benchmarks.
  • Work with process improvement teams and engineers to analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and develop streamlined solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements, updating process documents and training materials accordingly.
  • Assist in ongoing efforts to optimize workflows, procedures, and overall process performance.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, MES, or similar manufacturing execution systems is highly desirable.
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice.
