Production Planning & Control Specialist

What You Will Do
- Establish and monitor production planning related KPIs (OTD, TAT, Inventory), update and review them on regular basis involving internal stakeholders and setting up action plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedule to establish sequence to meet delivery targets.
- Interface with Materials to identify potential shortages early, develop and execute recovery and mitigation solutions.
- Collaborate with International Aero Engines (IAE) Delivery Assurance team to derive advance solutions to long lead time parts.
- Participate in weekly US global network parts escalation teleconference to gain resolution for critical parts.
- Perform data management through data mining, data analysis and/or problem analysis.
- Drive transformation initiatives to enhance production scheduling and streamline workflows.
- Interface with the various business functions such as Engineering, Customer Service and Quality and multi-level discussions impacting operations and engine delivery objectives.
- Ensure compliance of standards; drive CORE, EH&S and Ethics culture in the team. Assume roles in EH&S sub-committees
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in production planning or supply chain operations.
- Good knowledge of supply chain best practices and kitting operations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
- Good team player and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and self-directed. Able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with strong leadership and business acumen.
- Able to work with all levels of management and in a fast-paced, matrix reporting organization.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Relevant experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
- Relevant aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines.
