A leading aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Production Planner. This role requires developing production schedules, conducting load analyses, and leading process improvements. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and strong skills in MRP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in production and materials planning within Aerospace Manufacturing.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in load/capacity analysis.
• Proficient with advanced Excel skills including macros, pivot tables, and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule to balance production flow.
• Conduct load and capacity analyses for production cells.
• Lead weekly production review meetings covering forecasts and order fulfilment.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule to balance production flow and inventory targets.
• Conduct load and capacity analyses for production cells and RFQ parts, recommending solutions and capital needs.
• Coordinate material planning and outsourcing activities to support production schedules and mitigate supply shortages.
• Lead weekly production review meetings covering forecasts, order fulfilment, and cost of quality issues.
• Drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives through Lean and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in production and materials planning within Aerospace Manufacturing.
• Proficient with MRP/Syteline systems, advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, formulas).
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in load/capacity analysis and effective issue resolution.

Salary: $4,000 to $6,000
