Job summary

TechCom Technology Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Production Planning and Procurement professional to coordinate machining jobs, plan schedules, and ensure material readiness.

You will source suppliers, review drawings, monitor quality and delivery, and support cost and inventory management. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required; three years manufacturing experience is preferred.

Production Planning

• Planed coordinate machining jobs based on customer orders and production requirements.
• Prepare production schedules and monitor machining progress.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure material and production readiness.
• Monitor machine loading, capacity planning, and delivery timelines.
• Expedite urgent jobs and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Update job status and maintain planning records.

Supplier Sourcing & Procurement

• Source and evaluate machining suppliers for CNC milling, turning, fabrication and precision engineering services.
• Request and compare quotations based on cost, lead time, and capability.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain approved supplier database.
• Conduct supplier performance monitoring and vendor audits when required.
• Build long-term supplier relationships to support operational needs.

Technical Coordination

• Review engineering drawings and machining specifications before RFQ submission.
• Coordinate technical clarifications between suppliers and engineering teams.
• Ensure suppliers understand dimensional tolerance, material, and quality requirements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and prototype sourcing activities.

Quality & Delivery Control

• Monitor supplier quality performance and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate corrective actions for non-conforming products.
• Ensure all required certifications and inspection reports are received.
• Work closely with QA and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Cost & Inventory Management

• Support cost reduction and localization initiatives.
• Monitor machining costs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in material planning and inventory control activities.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project budgets and timelines.

Job Requirement:

• Preferably with three-year experience in manufacturing and/or industrial product trading environment.
• Process strong customer service mind-set.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experienced in MS Office applications.
