Job Description

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor the flow of products/materials through the complete production cycle.
  • Monitor daily production status, including material shortages.
  • Review, update and expedite production.
  • Provide timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor to achieve customer delivery dates.
  • Track production volume against purchasing expectations to ensure the correct number of products and manufacturing materials are always available.
  • Collaborate with buyers or procurement teams to order materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
  • Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and delays.
  • Assist in processing customer shipment enquiries or complaints and schedule changes or cancellations for orders.
  • Assist in arrangement handling, coordinating and monitoring documents relating to importing and exporting.
  • Assist in managing in-bound and out-bound processing and inventory control.
  • Assist in resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
  • Assist in directing inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
  • Assist in performing other works requested by superiors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in materials management within a manufacturing or production environment.
