Job summary
An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to optimize manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in expediting and prioritizing work orders.
- Coordinate and manage daily production schedule meetings.
- Assists in issuing and tracking production order.
- Ensure required materials are supplied to the production floor according to the schedule.
- Interface with manufacturing and purchasing personnel regarding material status and production planning issues.
- Work with production personnel to ensure orders are processed and completed on time.
- Prepare schedules for all production equipment.
- Prepare daily Work In Progress (WIP) reports.
- Handle projects with tight deadlines.
- Ad-hoc duties, perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min ITE/ Diploma in Supply Chain Management, any Engineering Disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Precision Engineering, etc.) or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role in manufacturing.
- Possess good knowledge in MS Office and ERP system.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
