Job summary

A leading company in precision machining seeks a skilled Production Planner to manage and forecast production schedules efficiently. The role requires interfacing with various departments to maintain accurate production and inventory levels, along with solving problems proactively. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience and be familiar with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in precision machining environment preferred.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Meticulous with high accuracy in work submitted.

• Plan and forecast production schedule for manufactured products.
• Generate and issue Manufacturing Orders (MO).

Job Description:

• Plan and forecast production schedule for manufactured product
• Responsible to plan production schedule based on lead time of project to meet shipping date according customers’ orders
• Interface with Production manager, Sales & Project Department, Purchasing Department on material status and production planning issues
• Maintaining on accurate and up-to-date stock inventory
• Generate and issue of Manufacturing Order (MO)
• Interpret drawings and to understand machine process for planning purposes
• Analyses Production wastages and develop and implement programs to reduce it
• Exercise the initiative to change the production schedule due to unforeseen circumstances

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in precision machining environment will be preferred
• Knowledgeable ERP System Software will be an advantage
• Resourceful in problem solving
• A team player with Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Meticulous with high accuracy in work submitted
