JOB DESCRIPTION

Position/Job Title: Production Planner (9563)

Report to: Sr. Manager, Production Planning

Department: Research & Development

Country/Location: Crocs Singapore

I - PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Manage the process to be effective and efficient in capacity & production planning and support Crocs to continuously expand the business scope in new sourcing countries with new tool implementation and delivery of the best lead time supply.

II - JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Interface with Global Capacity Planning team and Factory Planning for short/mid/long-term plans.
2. Responsible for managing and communicating supplier forecasts to factories.
3. Manage progress of factory capacity loading status and provide detailed actions (prebuild proposals) to meet KPI targets such as capacity fill rate and identify risks of supply delays due to capacity issues.
4. Work closely with PEM team for NPI development/Commercialization schedule, ensuring factory delivery meets launch timelines, including Speed to Market projects.
5. Coordinate with Global Merchandising, PDM, PEM, Supply Planning, and factories for collaboration styles to ensure on-time PO placement and buy confirmation to meet launch schedules.
6. Assist in each buy cycle for Purchase Requisition vendor allocation.
7. Manage KPI achievement rates by supervising planning processes and performance, focusing on capacity fill rate, buy confirmation, on-time shipment, analyzing key drivers, and proactively addressing risks.
8. Drive process optimization initiatives within the department to improve team efficiency and development.
9. Lead new projection rolling processes, identifying risks and opportunities, engaging in UAT stages, and ensuring smooth rollout.
10. Participate in planning audit processes and discussions with factories for planning improvements.
11. Conduct systematic training for new planners and vendors using updated visual PowerPoint presentations.

V - JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.

2. Over 3 years of experience in production planning (SC planning), preferably in the shoe industry.

3. Strong learning ability, communication, collaboration skills, excellent data analysis skills, good understanding of supply chain management, and team-building skills.

4. Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

5. Proficient in Excel analysis, PowerPoint, presentation skills, and Power BI (preferred).

6. Willing and able to support business travel outside Singapore, including to other countries in Asia or the US.
