Job summary

BEACONS PHARMACEUTICALS PTE. LTD. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee dispensing operations for production materials, ensuring timely reporting to the Production Manager.

The role includes GMP compliance, controlled substances handling, regulatory liaison, manpower planning, and support during GMP audits or inspections. A critical backfill for the Regulatory Pharmacist during absences, with a 2-year lock-in period.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Pharmacist in Singapore.
• Minimum 3 years of licensed pharmacist experience in pharma/GMP environment.
• Strong regulatory compliance knowledge, GMP standards, and controlled substances handling.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Permanent position with 2 years lock-in period.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dispensing operations for materials used in Production.
• Manage controlled substances inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in manpower planning and SOP updates under supervision.
• Support production manager in workforce management and engagement.
• Assist GMP training, audits, and inspections as needed.
• Cover for Regulatory Pharmacist during absences and handle other duties.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all dispensing operation for materials to be used in Production, including to provide timely report to Production Manager,
• Responsible for the management of controlled substances/controlled drugs and inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Under Production Manager supervision and direction to manageoperational training and development of manpower in production, and ensure relevant SOP update to date.
• To assist the Manager to plan, record and monitor the Production manpower headcount in accordance to employment matrix including proposing replacement and additional manpower
• Together with other team member to assist production manager in operational workforce management and engagement, and well-being.
• Together with production executive to conduct safety relevant training, to promote GMP compliance, and to support GMP audit, Project, etc under manager supervision and direction.
• Together with team member to support GMP inspection by authority or customers
• A crucial role covering for the Regulatory Pharmacist during his / her absent.
• Other duties/projects assigned by the Production Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mandatory: Must be a Registered Pharmacist in Singapore
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a licensed pharmacist in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, GMP standards, and controlled substances management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination and regulatory interactions
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
