NPI SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) (PTE.) LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assembly Operator to perform repetitive mechanical assembly of harnesses, cables, and related components on a paced production line.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive mechanical assembly operations for harnesses, cables, and related components.
• Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production components per drawings and tickets.
• Prepare and utilize basic hand tools and machines (power screwdriver, solder iron, crimpers, heat gun, etc.).
• Meet daily production output and quality requirements.
• Process inventory and support cycle counting according to procedures.

Job Description & Requirements

Key Duties and responsibilities

• Perform a repetitive and wide range of mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects; perform assembly of complex discrete wire harnesses and multi-conductor jacketed cables, coax, twin-ax, and tri-ax cables, power, and flat cable assemblies.
• Assembles, modifies reworks, and/or reassembles production components, utilizing drawing, picking tickets, processing documentation, and/or verbal instructions.
• Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire strippers.
• Clean parts prior to production use as required
• Identify wires with the usage of the basic color code sequence.
• Participate in first-time production runs of new products.
• Support cycle counting activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures.
• Participates in continuous improvement and team-building activities; maintains productive working relationships with all team members
• Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of machines and techniques in this industry and/or similar industries.
