Job description

Indium Corporation is a world leading US Company providing and marketing specialty chemical and alloys for use in the electronic industry. We have sales, marketing and manufacturing facilities in USA, UK, Singapore, China, South Korea, India and Malaysia.

To support our expansion, we are seeking well qualified individual to join our dynamic team as

Production Operator (Flux)

Responsibilities

  1. To perform product manufacturing and packing operations according to procedures and work instructions.

  2. To manufacture products according to specifications and standards.

  3. To record and verify process operating data to ensure process optimization.

  4. To ensure that production machinery and equipment are well maintained and in good working order.

  5. To troubleshoot equipment issues and execute corrective actions.

  6. To practice 5S housekeeping rules at workstations.

  7. To take part in the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).

  8. Any other duties & responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  1. Candidates must possess at least Secondary education.

  2. At least 1 year of working experience in an industrial working environment.

  3. Able to work in a Chemical processing environment and not averse to smell of chemicals or skin allergy to chemicals.

  4. Knowledge of chemical handling and storage.

  5. Must be able to lift heavy objects.

  6. Able to read and record data in English.

  7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  8. Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Programme (ERP) system.

  9. Flexible in working shifts and overtime when required.
