About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our dynamic team at Blue Whale Energy Pte Ltd. This is a contract position based in the One North Central Region. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our energy products.

What you'll be doing

  • Read and interpret shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials to plan assembly work.
  • Assemble and wire electromechanical units following specifications, using hand and power tools.
  • Perform sub-assembly preparation, main assembly, and functional testing of completed units.
  • Modify parts as needed (e.g., drilling, tapping), and check alignment and fit using precision tools.
  • Keep work area clean and organised and comply with all company policies on safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to production activities.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum N Level, O Level, NITEC, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of technical/engineering concepts or assembly work is an advantage.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing production requirements
  • Able to lift and carry 10–15kg.

What we offer

  • Working location: Walking distance from One-North MRT
  • Air-conditioned work environment
  • Contract duration: Up to 1 month (Approx. 15 working days)
  • 5-day work week, Mon–Fri, 9am to 6pm
  • $12/hour with additional $200 bonus based on quality of work
