Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking Production Operators to join our manufacturing team at 15 Joo Koon Circle. Under supervision of a trainer, you will mold and trim products on molding and trimming presses and assist in daily production operations.

You will work in a cell-based, rotating schedule (2-2-3, day/night) and follow SOPs to meet quality and output targets. The role requires reading and writing basic English and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand long

Qualifications

• Min GCE O level or equivalent.
• Able to read and understand Work Instruction in English to operate machine.
• Able to write and communicate in Basic English.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long hours.
• Minimum height requirement of 1.65m.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding and trimming press in accordance with SOP, cGMP, GDP, Health & Safety and Quality standards.
• Follow and execute OCAP procedures effectively.
• Escalate and provide feedback when there is an abnormality on the line.
• Participate and work with team members on continuous improvement projects.
• Load and unload rubber materials.
• Visually inspect and punch out defective parts.

Shift pattern: 2-2-3, rotating day/night, 7 to 715

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a trainer, mold and trim products to an established level of specifications in terms of quality and quantity on a molding and trimming press and other equipment supporting the manufacturing process. Production operators will work as a team in a cell concept rotating through multiple job functions throughout the day following a playbook for optimal performance.

Job Scope:

• Operating machine in accordance with Production SOP, Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Health & Safety and Quality standards.
• Follow and execute OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan) procedures effectively.
• Escalate and provide feedback whenever there is an abnormality occurrence in the line.
• Participate and work with team members to support continuous improvement projects.
• Loading and Unloading rubber materials.
• Visually inspect and punch out defective parts using mallets.

Key Requirements:
