Our Client is a successful supply chain operations company. They are looking for aProduction Manager to join their newly built manufacturing plant in Singapore focusing on steel bar processing.

【Responsibilities】
1. Production Operations Management
- Oversee production processes, equipment, and raw material usage, optimising steel processing efficiency while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Plan production output, allocate resources, and manage workflows to maintain production stability.
- Ensure product quality by monitoring production indicators, conducting inspections, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.

2. Safety and Compliance
- Implement and uphold workplace safety measures, establish a safety protection system, and identify potential risks.
- Promote a culture of safety, conduct safety training, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legal requirements.

3. Process Optimisation and Quality Control
- Implement quality control measures by analysing key production parameters such as material bending and machining accuracy.
- Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
- Adhere to ISO 9000 standards and continuously improve production processes.

4. Performance Evaluation and Cost Control
- Develop performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production efficiency and quality.
- Optimise resource utilisation and reduce production costs while maintaining high-quality output.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- 10 years of experience in industrial production management, with at least 4 years in steel bar processing in Singapore
- Bachelor's Degree candidates with lesser management experience, and at least 5 years of industry experience in steel bar processing, are welcome!
- Familiar with BS 4449 / EN 10080 standards related to steel reinforcement processing.
- Ability to lead around 30 production staff and start up a production plant in Singapore
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S workplace organisation.
- Familiar with steel processing equipment, including bending machines and welding machines, with strong maintenance management skills.
- Experience with ERP/MES production systems and proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (Business Level Read/Write/Verbal) in order to liaise with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders

(Advantageous)
- Possess WSO Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
- Experience in quality control (QC) and ACM certification in the metal industry is an added advantage.
