Production Manager (Gantry Barrier/East/Up to $5.5k + AWS + VB) JF19

Job Description:

1. Oversee and monitor the operations of the Production Team including planning and review of work processes for execution of production works.

2. Plan and review manpower strength and competencies for current and potential new tasks.

3. Identify training and development needs for production personnel.

4. Manage inventory, ensuring stock replenishment for new projects or urgent work orders.

5. Monitor car park system deployment movements and oversee work planning, execution, and delivery per sales order requirements.

6. Collaborate with the team to address work challenges and monitor performance in planning, quality, and deadlines.

7. Maintain a safe, clean work environment, identifying and improving safety hazards at the workplace and establishing awareness of work hazards.

8. Check and approve the Goods Issue Note (GIN) prepared by the Production Technician for each project.

9. For private/commercial projects, finalize equipment lists and oversee production planning and system testing based on urgency/deadlines of service delivery.

10. For government projects, monitor preparation phases, equipment deployment, and inventory levels to support work volume.

Requirements:

1. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.

2. Candidate with manufacturing experience is an advantage.

3. Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.

4. Good leadership and teamwork abilities to guide staff and work with other departments.

5. Understanding of production processes and inventory management.
