A Production Manager at CHOW is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the production department, managing the Agency’s production resources to enhance productivity, and processing relevant business development leads. Aside from working towards business and operational goals, the Production Manager assumes responsibility for creating and maintaining workflow procedures and policies that empower the Agency’s production department to operate at peak efficiency.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the Agency’s production department, including evaluating, procuring, and managing external production staff commissioned by the Agency on assigned shoots and projects
- Develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and resources in collaboration with the Agency’s Accounts team, ensuring production efficiency and success.
- Evaluate, refine, and develop existing and new production procedures and SOPs of the Agency to ensure effective production operations across the Agency’s departments.
- Ensure that the necessary production safety guidelines are adhered to by the Agency’s working teams, and conduct necessary training to educate staff where needed
- Perform liaison duties between Management and production staff, to supervise production staff to perform at high levels of effectiveness.
- Discuss budget expectations with Management and assigned Clients, and evaluate, forecast, and manage production risks and costs to minimise losses and maximise profits for the Agency, ensuring the overall cost-effectiveness of production work.
- Oversee and supervise technical and production processes and quality control on assigned shoots, ensuring that they meet both Client and Agency’s requirements, goals, and expectations; and set quality standards when necessary
- Manage and oversee the production department’s schedules, activities and delegation to ensure fair, efficient and effective workload.s
- Identify the training needs of the Agency’s production staff to develop training curricula.
