Job description

RESPONSIBILITY

To plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard. To oversee Production, Purchasing and Store Department to maintains a smooth running and efficient/effective department.

  • Oversee the production process, plan production schedule for the job.
  • Implement and control the production schedule.
  • Review and monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Determine production human resources required.
  • Determine material resources required.
  • Manage human and material resources to meet production targets.
  • Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement.
  • Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations.
  • Estimate production costs and set production budgets.
  • Manage production budget to ensure that the production is cost effective.
  • Implement cost control programs.
  • Work with General Manager to implement the company’s policies and goals.
  • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Set & monitor product quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
  • Analyze production and quality control to detect and corrective actions.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
  • Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports.
  • Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement procurement.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management.
  • Identify employee training needs.
  • To plan, organizes, directs and controls the purchasing operations in an efficient and reliable purchasing system.
  • To plan, organize, direct and control the store operations in an efficient and reliable manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/Diploma/GCE 'A' level
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in Production Management
