Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking a proactive Production Team Leader to coordinate production associates, ensuring daily targets, quality and efficiency. You will oversee assembly operations across production areas and drive improvements to meet performance goals.

You will lead daily briefings, monitor output, and train staff in processes, safety and operational requirements, while supporting onboarding and escalation of issues as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Team Leader or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Understanding of production monitoring and ISO documentation.
• Experience investigating production or quality issues and supporting corrective actions.
• Strong reporting, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to calculate and monitor takt time, manpower, and line balancing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production associates to meet daily targets and quality standards.
• Monitor output and escalate production or quality issues promptly.
• Conduct daily team briefings and prepare performance reports.
• Oversee assembly operations across production areas.
• Support process improvements and new model introductions.
• Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance.
• Train and coach staff on work processes, safety and requirements.
• Assist onboarding and development of new employees and junior leads.
• Investigate issues and support corrective actions.
