Production Executive job scope:
- Coordinate with editors, designers, and other stakeholders to gather detailed print specifications and requirements, ensuring clarity and accuracy of the project.
- Liaise with suppliers, printers, and vendors to obtain competitive quotes, negotiate schedules and pricing, and ensure that quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
- Manage and oversee the entire order process, from quotation, stock preparation to production, quality control, and final delivery, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
- Update and maintain the Production Schedule Report regularly, reflecting the current status of each project, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with forwarders, logistics providers, and warehouse staff to facilitate smooth deliveries and shipments, ensuring timely distribution of finished products.
- Conduct thorough checking of advance copies to verify compliance with agreed specifications and quality standards.
- Handle administrative tasks related to production, including documentation, order tracking, and maintaining accurate records of all production activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, liaising with vendors and internal teams to minimise delays and rectifying quality concerns.
- Assist in developing and refining production processes and workflows to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain operations.
- Possess at least a Diploma in a relevant field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to manage and analyse data efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of the printing process is a plus.
