Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets
• Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations promptly to minimize downtime
• Optimize workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
• Collect and analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions
• Support training programs for operators to enhance their operational skills
• Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations during production activities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Ensure accurate recording of production metrics
• Prepare daily and weekly production performance reports
• Document production activities, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken
• Monitor production parameters and adjust settings to maintain product quality and efficiency
• Operate production machinery and ensure processes run smoothly when operators are unavailable
• Perform routine inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment
• Take over production responsibilities in the absence of operators to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Actively participate in day-to-day production operations, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance
• Propose innovative ideas for cost savings and productivity improvements
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Computer-literate with knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AutoCAD)
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is preferred
