Job summary

A multinational manufacturing company is looking for a qualified candidate for a crucial machine assembly role in Joo Koon. The successful applicant will ensure high-quality standards through rigorous testing and inspections of machines, while assisting in the launch of new models. A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required, along with at least two years of relevant experience.

• Able to check parts using AS400 system.

Job description

• $2500 - $3500 + VB + AWS

• 8am – 5.15pm (Mon – Fri)

• Work Location: Joo Koon (Transport Provided)

Your Role, Your Influence:

• Handle machine mechanical settings/pre & post machine power ON inspection checks, machine parameter settings, testing and inspection according to standard

• Handle electrical/mechanical testing jigs and perform testing and validation of machines

• Handle basic and advance machine assembly /electrical wiring works

• Handle machine final electrical/mechanical inspection and adjustments for any defects to maintain high level of quality

• Assist in launching of new machine models and provide quality, cost effective and efficient support

• Handle operating instruction, check sheet document creation and updates revision

• MangePOP (Point of Production) System and MES (Manufacturing Execution System)

• Manage MOS (manufacturing order sheet)/SPO (special order) requirement

• Liaise with engineering and other departments to improve assembly process

• Handle investigation and reports onproductivity, quality, internal / external claims, RCA , CAR etc

• Troubleshoot and resolve machine mechanical/electrical non conformance

• Supervise and provide training to production team for new release OI,check sheet ,etc

• Able to check parts using AS400 system &&interpret electrical/mechanical drawing

• Handle records of inspection result at each electrical/mechanical process

• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

The Ingredients for Success:

• Diploma /Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent

• Min 2 years working in a machine assembly environment is preferred
