Job description

The Production Engineer supports plant operations and maintenance, focusing on optimizing production processes, equipment, and tooling while minimizing downtime. Under guidance, the role involves driving continuous improvement and ensuring plant efficiency and compliance with QEHS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plant Operations: Troubleshoot and resolve production and equipment issues, provide technical support, track and analyze machine parameters, and conduct feasibility studies.
  2. Plant Maintenance: Maintain technical documents, liaise with equipment vendors, coordinate maintenance activities, and manage critical spares.
  3. People: Collaborate with production and tooling teams, promote safe work practices, foster continuous improvement, and provide team guidance and training.
  4. Others: Ensure QEHS compliance and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Process Engineering or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  2. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  3. Demonstrates appropriate level of adaptability, maintains positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  4. Aptitude for problem solving, motivated to take on challenges.
  5. Comfortable working with mechanical tools in a production environment.
