Education
Diploma or Engineering Holder
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing spray-painting process to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize defects. Implement innovative solutions to optimize workflow and increase productivity.
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production managers to develop production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of assembled components.
- Tooling and Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and performance of spray equipment and tools. Coordinate repairs, modifications, and upgrades as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve spray-related issues, such as over spray/under spray, color tone issue and equipment malfunctions. Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous process improvement, including the application of lean manufacturing principles and other optimization methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of components and timely resolution of design-related challenges.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of spray processes, work instructions, and production reports. Generate regular reports on production performance and key metrics.
- Training and Skill Development: Train and mentor assembly/spray technicians on best practices, quality standards, and proper use of equipment to maintain consistent and efficient assembly processes.
- Health and Safety: Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines and promoting safe work practices.
Requirements
- Diploma or Engineering Holder
- 3 years relevant experience in spray painting operation
- Knowledge in spray paint processes, machine set-up and operation
- Knowledge on plastic manufacturing processes.
- Computer literate in Microsoft office.
- A pro-active team player.
