Job summary

A cultural organization in Singapore is seeking a Production Coordinator to manage technical aspects for events. The successful candidate will have a degree in Production Management or related fields, possess 2-5 years of experience, and show a strong interest in Chinese arts. Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production coordination and assignment of technical officers for all events at SCCC
  • Collaborate with the Venues & Partnership and Technical Production teams to resolve stakeholders and hirers’ production/technical matters proactively
  • Manage production coordination related telephone and email requests efficiently
  • Initiate and facilitate production meetings with stakeholders and hirers
  • Ensure technical and production aspects of events are delivered with high standards
  • Manage and maintain the production processes, documentation, and correspondences within the Event Business Management System (EBMS)
  • Maintain close communications with internal departments to ensure efficient venue utilisation while providing excellent customer service
  • Facilitate prompt event closing and final billings of stakeholders’ events
  • Co-organise the weekly event operation meeting with Venues & Partnership and Technical Production
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and workflow in production related areas
  • Any additional duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • A degree and/or diploma in Production Management, Technical Theatre, Arts Management, Event Management or equivalent, pre ferably with working knowledge in the following fields: Production Management, Technical Theatre, or MICE Events within an arts centre or MICE venue setup.
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant experience;
  • Strong interest and passion in Chinese arts and culture;
  • Good working knowledge of the Event Business Management Software (EBMS)
  • Good time and production management skills
  • Experience with establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and system workflow
  • Able to work independently and be a good team player;
  • Outgoing personality with a can-do spirit;
  • Bilingual with proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous.
