Job summary

Givaudan is seeking a dedicated production compounder to join their team in Singapore. In this role, you will handle compounding and production tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency while adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate has a GCE 'O' Level or equivalent, and at least three years of experience in fragrance compounding. A team player with a good attitude and basic troubleshooting skills, you will contribute to creating delightful taste and scent experiences.

Qualifications

• At least three years of competence in two work areas in fragrance compounding.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out production activities (compounding, packing, bottling, etc.) as directed.
• Ensuring first-time right production to reduce rework and wastage.
• Maintaining Quality System Compliance.

Skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Basic troubleshooting skills in production

The production compounder is responsible for carrying out compounding activities to ensure the timely completion of orders. This includes:

• Following established procedures for routine assignments.
• Performing work using detailed instructions or procedures.
• Performing repetitive work and seeking decisions of a non-complex nature.
• Independently handling two specific routine work requirements within the cycle time, with supervisor-defined work requirements and outcome checks.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

• Carrying out production activities (compounding, packing, bottling, cluster operation, washing) as directed by the team leader.
• Adhering to EHS requirements during production activities.
• Ensuring first-time right production to reduce rework and wastage.
• Performing ad-hoc activities (cycle count, hose change, weighing scale verification) as directed by team leaders and/or managers.
• Maintaining Quality System Compliance.
• Supporting site activities according to accreditation standards (ISO 9001, GMP, Halal).
